About Me
I'm a backend engineer with 6.5+ years of experience across the JavaScript/TypeScript stack: Node.js, Express, NestJS, and AWS. I've built microservices architectures serving 1M+ daily users, cut API response times by 40% through query optimization, and taken products from zero to production.
I've led a team of ~5 engineers, owning technical decisions, running code reviews, mentoring developers, and shipping features end-to-end. I've also used AI-assisted tooling (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) day-to-day to prototype faster, write tests, and debug production issues.
Outside of engineering, I write about career growth, tech, and life observations on LinkedIn and X. When I'm not coding or writing, you'll find me traveling, reading books, watching movies, or hacking on side projects.

Senior Backend Engineer

- Led a team of 5 backend engineers, owned hiring, mentoring, code reviews, and sprint planning while coordinating with FE, App, and QA leads.
- Architected offline-first sync algorithm replacing Firebase auto-sync with raw MySQL to enable full offline support on mobile.
- Developed role-based access control (RBAC) for 10K+ admins to control visibility and information sharing within their organizations.
- Built a Targets module enabling admins to define and track team performance with 600+ active targets.
- Implemented multi-employee and team-based client visibility in the Clients module, scaling across 3.2M+ records.
- Developed Custom Tasks feature with custom fields and templates, now the core module powering all task-related workflows.
- Set up production monitoring with Cloudwatch dashboards, Slack alerts, and email notifications; resolved critical DB spike by vertical scaling under pressure.
